I Hate The Way I Look On Zoom?

The Way I Look On ZoomLife for all of us has changed. We are spending much more time on video platforms such as Zoom, Skype and FaceTime. Weather it be for social connection or work obligations we are all seeing more of ourselves. I have seen this reflected in conversations I have with patients daily in my office.

Patients often come into my office saying that they don't like looking at their heavy upper eyelids, wrinkles or lower eyelid bags on video calls. It gives me great joy to offer both surgical and non-surgical options to improve the way my patients look and feel about themselves.

One of the most common procedures I have been performing lately is the upper eyelid blepharoplasty. This corrects heavy upper lids, removing skin that is drooping. It is a simple procedure that can be done with local anesthesia. Most patients are back to work within a few days.

I have also been combining the upper eyelid blepharoplasty with the endoscopic brow lift. This is helpful for patients who have a low brow, especially for those with heavy skin and drooping in the outer corners of the eyelids. The endoscopic brow lift gives a natural rejuvenation to the brow with hidden incision and a fast recovery.

Lower eyelid surgery has also been extremely popular lately. With the lower eyelid blepharoplasty I am able to remove bags, tighten skin and lift lose muscle tissue under the eyes.

Overall it has been a busy time, keeping my patients feeling and looking good. I love helping patients keep their “cameras on” with confidence and feeling great about how they look.
